The Weinbrenner Shoe Company Reintroduces Wood N' Stream Outdoor Footwear

MERRILL, Wis. - Weinbrenner Shoe Company, a leading manufacturer and pioneering force in the American footwear industry, has announced that it will reintroduce its Wood N' Stream Outdoor Footwear line for 2013. Established in 1957, Wood N' Stream will offer both domestic and imported lines that feature proven technology leveraging Weinbrenner's extensive industry experience and manufacturing capability for high value, high performance products. All Wood N' Stream styles will be available for purchase in retail outlets nationally starting this month. For nearly 60 years sportsmen have known the name Wood N' Stream and the high quality, handcrafted performance outdoor footwear it has produced. This year Wood N' Stream introduces a new line of hunting boots with a wide range of styles that offer comfort technologies unlike anything that the hunting industry has ever seen and a line that is made in the USA.

Superior Technology.

Both the true sportsman and the outdoor enthusiast will appreciate the superior comfort, durable construction and quality materials that go into each pair of Wood N' Stream boots. This year Wood N' Stream introduces industry leading innovations to the outdoor footwear market with the Visible Gel System (VGS) and the GEN-flex3 Series. The state of the art, interactive VGS lessens repetitive impact stress in the heel with three layers of shock absorption, which reduces stress on the knees and back, and can withstand 300 pounds per square inch compared to the industry standard 75 PSI is most competing footwear. The VGS expands into a nine-layer system with the GEN-flex3 Series, which eliminates the break-in period for a Goodyear Welt constructed boot and gives you that "ahhhh" feeling from the first time you try them on.

Unmatched Comfort and Value.

"Sportsmen have enjoyed our performance outdoor footwear since Wood N' Stream was first handcrafted by Weinbrenner Shoe Company nearly 60 years ago. With a tradition of boots that are built to withstand the harshest outdoor conditions, we are adding a level of comfort that is unmatched in the industry to provide superior value for a high-quality hunting boot. There is a growing demand for domestic made products and we are proud to introduce our American Heritage collection, with three new lines that are made right here in the USA at a price point that our competitors charge for boots imported from overseas," said Weinbrenner President Patrick Miner. For 2013, Wood N' Stream has created a wide range of styles that can be enjoyed anywhere outdoors. These 'all-terrain vehicles for your feet' offer options that include a Goodyear Welt construction, a wide range of insulation levels depending on your climate (including 3M Thinsulate Ultra Insulation), waterproofing (X-Stream Waterproof and eVent), and Mossy Oak Infinity camouflage. The full line of Wood N' Stream outdoor footwear will be available this September with a MSRP range of $99.99 - $299.99.
